About The Cutting Edge Landscaping
The Cutting Edge Landscaping began in 1985 with a father's lawnmower and some other plug in household equipment like an electric weedwacker. There were two company vehicles: a yellow Schwinn bicycle with a banana seat and one of those little red radio flyer wagons with a blue and fluorescent orange bumper sticker that read "Reagan for President". The wagon was the trailer. The owner was twelve years old. Ahhh, the days of no red tape! Today we service over 85 accounts weekly.

The Cutting Edge Landscaping was started in 1985 when the owner was the ripe old age of 12 and lasted through middle school, high school and college- then kicked in to full gear upon college graduation. The owner attended SUNY Farmingdale and obtained an AAS degree in Ornamental Horticulture and Landscape Development. Then he went to the University of Delaware where he received a B.S. degree in Agriculture specializing in Plant and Soil Sciences. The owner also holds a certified commercial pesticide applicators license issued by NYS DEC.
